The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred by section 240(2) of the Localism Act 2011[^f00001], makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Localism Act 2011 (Commencement No. 1) (England) Order 2012.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings fully into force in England, on the day after it is made, Chapter 3 of Part 5 of the Localism Act 2011 (sections 87 to 108) concerning assets of community value.
