Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 1 of the United Nations Act 1946[^f00001], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:
Citation, commencement and extent

- (1) This Order may be cited as the United Nations Sanctions (Overseas Territories) (Revocations) Order 2012 and comes into force on 14th November 2012.
- (2) This Order extends to the territories listed in Schedule 1.
Revocations

The Orders listed in Schedule 2 are revoked.

- The Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia in the Island of Cyprus

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order revokes The Serbia and Montenegro (United Nations Prohibition of Flights) (Dependent Territories) Order 1992, The Serbia and Montenegro (United Nations Sanctions) (Dependent Territories) Order 1993, The Former Yugoslavia (United Nations Sanctions) (Dependent Territories) Order 1994, The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (United Nations Sanctions) (Dependent Territories) Order 1998, The Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (United Nations Sanctions) (Dependent Territories) (Amendment) Order 1999, The Eritrea and Ethiopia (United Nations Sanctions) (Overseas Territories) Order 2000, and The Eritrea and Ethiopia (United Nations Sanctions) (Overseas Territories) (Amendment) Order 2000. These Orders ceased to have effect on the termination of the United Nations sanctions measures which they implemented. This Order formally revokes the Orders.
