The Health Act 2009 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2012

The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 40(1) of the Health Act 2009[^f00001].
Citation

This Order may be cited as the Health Act 2009 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2012.
Appointed day
2
31st October 2012 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Health Act 2009—
- (a) section 38 (repeals and revocations), in so far as it relates to the repeals mentioned in paragraph (b); and
- (b) the entries in Schedule 6 (repeals and revocations) that relate to the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Act 2002[^f00002], in so far as not already in force.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force the repeals in Schedule 6 of the Health Act 2009 of sections 13(4) and 14(11) of the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Act 2002, which means that the repeals in relation to that Act are fully in force.
