The Secretary of State makes the following order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 52(2), 52(3) and 55(1) of the UK Borders Act 2007[^f00001].

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order prescribes the persons with whom the Chief Inspector of the UK Border Agency may act jointly under section 52(2) of the UK Borders Act 2007, in so far as the Chief Inspector thinks it consistent with the efficient and effective performance of the functions under section 48.

This Order also prescribes the persons that the Chief Inspector may assist under section 52(3) of the UK Borders Act 2007.
