Now, therefore, Her Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 6 of the International Organisations Act 1968[^f00001], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

This Order may be cited as the G8 Summit (Immunities and Privileges) Order 2013 and comes into force on 7th June 2013.

This Order extends to England and Wales and Northern Ireland.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order confers immunities and privileges upon the representatives of the sovereign Powers (other than the United Kingdom) at the G8 Summit, which is due to be held in Northern Ireland beginning on 17th June 2013.

A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
