The Children, Schools and Families Act 2010 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2013

The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 29(5) of the Children, Schools and Families Act 2010[^f00001].

This Order may be cited as the Children, Schools and Families Act 2010 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2013.
Provision coming into force on 3rd July 2013

3rd July 2013 is the appointed day for the coming into force of section 10 of the Children, Schools and Families Act 2010.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order is the fourth Commencement Order made by the Secretary of State for Education under the Children, Schools and Families Act 2010 (“the Act”) and brings into force section 10 of the Act on 3rd July 2013.
Section 10 of the Act inserts section 15A into the Children Act 2004 (c. 31). Section 15A gives the Secretary of State the power to make regulations to make provision for the Chief Inspector to conduct a review of the performance of Local Safeguarding Children Boards.
