Coming into force: 15th August 2013

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[^f00001] and now vested in him[^f00002] and[^f00003]:—

This Order may be cited as The A46 Trunk Road (Newark to Widmerpool Improvement and Slip Roads) Margidunum Roundabout (Detrunking) Order 2013 and shall come into force on 15th August2013

In this Order—

The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a principal road from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies Nottinghamshire County Council that the new trunk roads are open for traffic when this Order comes into force.

SCHEDULE — LENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD

The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is situated between Newark and Widmerpool and is located between;

And is shown by broad black dashes on the plan.
