The Armed Forces Act 2011 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2013
Made: 26th September 2013
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 32(3) of the Armed Forces Act 2011[^f00001]:
Citation and interpretation

This order may be cited as the Armed Forces Act 2011 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2013.

In this Order “the Act” means the Armed Forces Act 2011.
Commencement

The following provisions of the Act shall come into force on 1st November 2013—
- (a) section 9;
- (b) sections 10 and 11 so far as not already in force;
- (c) section 16(1);
- (d) section 30(1) so far as is necessary to bring into force paragraphs 3(1), (2) and (4), 4, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of Schedule 4;
- (e) section 30(2) so far as is necessary to bring into force the entries in Schedule 5 relating to sections 305, 306, 307 and 308 of the Armed Forces Act 2006[^f00002].

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force certain provisions of the Armed Forces Act 2011 (c. 18) on 1st November 2013.
