The Competition Act 1998 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2013
Made: 12th February 2013
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 76(3) of the Competition Act 1998[^f00001].
Citation

This Order may be cited as the Competition Act 1998 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2013.
Provisions coming into force on 10th March 2013

The following provisions of the Competition Act 1998 come into force on 10th March 2013 so far as they are not already in force—
- (a) section 1 (enactments replaced);
- (b) section 74(3) (repeals); and
- (c) Part 1 of Schedule 14 (repeals).

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force on 10th March 2013 the provisions of the Competition Act 1998 (c. 41) which are not already in force. The provisions in question are section 1(a), which provides for the Restrictive Practices Court Act 1976 (c. 33) to cease to have effect, and the provisions of section 74(3) and Part 1 of Schedule 14 which repeal that Act.
