The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 240(2) of the Localism Act 2011[^f00001], makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Localism Act (Commencement No. 3) Order 2013.
Provisions coming into force on 17th December 2013

Section 122 of the Localism Act 2011, so far as not already in force, comes into force on 17th December 2013.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
Article 2 of this Order brings into force, so far as not already in force, section 122 of the Localism Act (consultation before applying for planning permission) on 17th December 2013.
