The Financial Services Act 2012 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2013
Made: 18th March 2013
The Treasury make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 122(3) and (4) of the Financial Services Act 2012[^f00001]:
Citation

This Order may be cited as the Financial Services Act 2012 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2013.
Appointed day for the coming into force of certain provisions of the Financial Services Act 2012

19th March 2013 is the day appointed for the coming into force of—
- (a) sections 17 and 18 of the Financial Services Act 2012 for the purposes of making rules;
- (b) section 39 of that Act for the purpose of introducing paragraph 28 of Schedule 11 to that Act in so far as it relates to the fixing of standard terms.

Explanatory note

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force sections 17, 18 and 39 of the Financial Services Act 2012 (c.21) (“the Act”) on 19th March 2013 for the purposes specified in this Order. This is the third commencement order to be made under the Act.
This Order will have no effect on the costs of business and the voluntary sector independent of the provisions this Order brings into force. For that reason, no impact assessment has been produced for this instrument.
