The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 240(2) and (7) of the Localism Act 2011[^f00001], makes the following Order:

The following provisions of the Act come into force on the commencement date in relation to England—

Transitional provisions in relation to complaints against a social landlord

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Article 3 of this Order brings into force, in relation to England, sections 180 to 182 of the Localism Act 2011 (matters relating to the housing ombudsman) from the commencement date. The insertion of paragraph 7D into Schedule 2 to the Housing Act 1996 by section 180(1) of the Localism Act 2011 is not commenced.
