The Plymouth College of Art (Transfer to the Higher Education Sector) Order 2014

Coming into force: 4th July 2014

In accordance with section 122A(1) of that Act, it appears to the Secretary of State that the full-time equivalent enrolment number of the institution conducted by Plymouth College of Art[^f00002] for courses of higher education exceeds 55 per cent of its total full-time equivalent enrolment number.

Citation, commencement and application

• (1) This Order may be cited as the Plymouth College of Art (Transfer to the Higher Education Sector) Order 2014 and comes into force on 4th July 2014.

• (2) This Order applies in relation to England.

Transfer to the higher education sector

On 4th July 2014 Plymouth College of Art is transferred to the higher education sector.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order, made under section 122A of the Education Reform Act 1988, provides for the transfer of Plymouth College of Art from the further education sector to the higher education sector on 4th July 2014.

An impact assessment has not been prepared for this Order because it has no impact on businesses or civil society organisations. The Explanatory Memorandum is published alongside the instrument on www.legislation.gov.uk.
