The Digital Economy Act 2010 (Appointed Day No.4) Order 2014

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 47(3) of the Digital Economy Act 2010[^f00001], makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Digital Economy Act 2010 (Appointed Day No.4) Order 2014.
Provisions coming into force on 30th June 2014

The day appointed for the coming into force of section 43 of the Digital Economy Act 2010, and the entry in Schedule 2 to that Act relating to the Public Lending Right Act 1979 (and section 45 as it relates to that entry) is 30th June 2014.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings section 43 of the Digital Economy Act 2010 (Public Lending Right) and the related repeal in Schedule 2 to that Act, into force on 30th June 2014. These provisions extend the public lending right to narrators and producers and to audio-books and e-books.
On the making of this Order the remaining provisions of the Digital Economy Act 2010 left to be brought into force are sections 19, 20, 21 and 28(1) to (7).
