The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 75(3) of the Immigration Act 2014[^f00001], makes the following Order:

Citation

This Order may be cited as the Immigration Act 2014 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2014.

Commencement of provision

2

The date appointed for the coming into force of section 40 of the Immigration Act 2014 (prohibition on opening current accounts for disqualified persons) is 12th December 2014.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order is the second commencement order made under the Immigration Act 2014 (“the Act”). It brings into force section 40 of the Act on 12th December 2014.
