The Judicial Appointments and Discipline (Addition of Office) Order 2014

Coming into force: 1st October 2014

The Lord Chancellor makes this Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 85(3) of the Constitutional Reform Act 2005[^f00001].

Citation and Commencement

This Order may be cited as the Judicial Appointments and Discipline (Addition of Office) Order 2014 and comes into force on 1st October 2014.

Amendment

• (1) Table 1 (Appointments by the Lord Chancellor) in Part 3 of Schedule 14 to the Constitutional Reform Act 2005[^f00002] is amended as follows.

• (2) After the entry for paragraph 15(1) of Schedule 9 to the Agriculture Act 1947[^f00003] and the office to which that paragraph relates insert—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order adds the office of appointed person under section 27A(1)(a) of the Registered Designs Act 1949 to the list of appointments by the Lord Chancellor in Table 1 of Part 3 of Schedule 14 to the Constitutional Reform Act 2005.
