The Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) (Revocation) (England) Order 2014

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 71(3) of the Control of Pollution Act 1974[^f00001], makes the following Order.
Citation, application and commencement

This Order—
- (a) may be cited as the Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) (Revocation) (England) Order 2014;
- (b) applies in England; and
- (c) comes into force on 1st October 2014.
Revocation

The Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) Order 1981[^f00002] is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order revokes the Control of Noise (Code of Practice on Noise from Audible Intruder Alarms) Order 1981 (S.I. 1981/1829) in relation to England.
An impact assessment has not been produced as no impact on the private, voluntary or public sectors is foreseen.
