The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25(1) and 27(1) and (4) of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013[^f00001], makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013 (Commencement No. 1) (Northern Ireland) Order 2014.

Provisions coming into force on 15th September 2014

The following provisions of the Electoral Registration and Administration Act 2013 come into force in Northern Ireland on 15th September 2014—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Article 2 brings into force for Northern Ireland the remaining uncommenced provisions extending to Northern Ireland in the Electoral Registration and Administration Act [2013 (c. 6)](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2013/6), with the exception of the paragraphs of Schedule 4 listed in Article 2(l). The provisions brought into force by this Order were commenced for England and Wales and Scotland by [S.I. 2014/414](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2014/414).
