The Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2014

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 94 of the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003[^f00001].

Citation

This Order may be cited as the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2014.

Provisions coming into force on 3rd December 2014

The following provisions of the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 come into force on 3rd December 2014—

• (a) Section 90 (freezing of terrorist property);

• (b) Schedule 4 (terrorist property: freezing orders).

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order is the sixth[^f00002] commencement order made under the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 (c. 32). It brings into force section 90 of, and Schedule 4 to, that Act.

Schedule 4 amends the Terrorism Act 2000 (c. 11) to implement the Framework Decision[^f00003] on the execution in the European Union of orders freezing property or evidence adopted by the Council of the European Union on 22nd July 2003 in relation to terrorist property.
