The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 61(2) of the Crime and Courts Act 2013[^f00001], makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Crime and Courts Act 2013 (Commencement No.1) (England and Wales) Order 2014.

Provisions coming into force on 2nd March 2015

So far as extending to England and Wales, section 56 of, and Schedule 22 to, the Crime and Courts Act 2013 (drugs and driving) come into force on 2nd March 2015.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order is the first commencement order relating only to England and Wales made under the Crime and Courts Act 2013 (c. 22). It brings into force in England and Wales, section 56 of that Act together with Schedule 22 to that Act, which deal with drugs and driving.
