The Secretary of State for Health makes this Order on the application of the NHS Direct National Health Service Trust, following the consultation prescribed under paragraph 28(3) of Schedule 4 to, that Act 2006[^f00002].

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the NHS Direct National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 2014 and comes into force on 1st April 2014.

Dissolution of NHS trust

(1) The NHS Direct National Health Service Trust is dissolved.

(2) The NHS Direct National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 2007[^f00003] is revoked.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order provides for the dissolution on 1st April 2014 of the NHS Direct National Health Service Trust established on 1st April 2007 and revokes the NHS Direct National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 2007 that established the trust.
