Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order amends the Legal Officers (Annual Fees) Order 2013 (‘the 2013 Order’) in consequence of the Dioceses of Bradford, Ripon and Leeds and Wakefield Reorganisation Scheme (‘the Scheme’). The Scheme, which comes into effect on 20th April 2014, abolishes the dioceses of Bradford, Ripon and Leeds and Wakefield and creates in their place a new diocese of West Yorkshire and the Dales. This Order substitutes for the table of fees in the 2013 Order a new table which provides for fees apportioned on a pro-rata basis to be paid to the registrars of the three dioceses abolished by the Scheme and to the registrar of the new diocese.
The Order will have effect from 20th April 2014.
