In accordance with section 4A(8) of that Act the Treasury have consulted, where they think it appropriate, the Scottish Ministers, the Department of Finance and Personnel for Northern Ireland and the Welsh Ministers.

Title, commencement and interpretation

  • (1) This Order may be cited as the Government Resources and Accounts Act 2000 (Estimates and Accounts) (Amendment) Order 2015.
  • (2) This Order comes into force on 31st January 2016.
  • (3) In this Order—
  • (a) the reference to “Table 21 (Cabinet Office)” in article 2(9) is a reference to that table in the Schedule to the Government Resources and Accounts Act 2000 (Estimates and Accounts) Order 2015[^f00002] (“the Principal Order”); and
  • (b) except in article 2(9) and Schedule 3, any other reference to a table is a reference to column 2 of a table in the Principal Order.

Amendment to designations

  • (1) The Principal Order is amended as follows.
  • (2) In each table mentioned in Schedule 1 to this Order, insert at the appropriate place the bodies which are listed for that table.
  • (3) In each table mentioned in Schedule 2 to this Order, omit the bodies which are listed for that table.
  • (4) In Table 4 (Department for Transport)—
  • (a) for “Network Rail” substitute “Network Rail Limited”, and
  • (b) for “Passenger Focus” substitute “Passengers’ Council”.
  • (5) In Table 6 (Department for Business, Innovation and Skills)—
  • (a) for “Office of Fair Access” substitute “Office for Fair Access”,
  • (b) for “Postal Services Holding Company plc” substitute “Postal Services Holding Company Limited”, and
  • (c) for “UK GIB Financial Services Limited” substitute “UK Green Investment Bank Financial Services Limited”.
  • (6) In Table 9 (Ministry of Justice), for “Victims’ Commissioner” substitute “Commissioner for Victims and Witnesses”.
  • (7) In Table 16 (Department for Culture, Media and Sport), for “BBC World Service” substitute “BBC World Service Holdings Ltd”.
  • (8) In Table 20 (HM Treasury), for “Northern Rock Asset Management plc” substitute “NRAM plc”.
  • (9) After Table 21 (Cabinet Office), insert the tables in Schedule 3 to this Order.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the Government Resources and Accounts Act 2000 (Estimates and Accounts) Order 2015 (S.I. 2015/632), which designates specified central government bodies in relation to named government departments for the purpose of those departments’ supply estimates and resource accounts. The effect of the amendments is that additional bodies are designated, the names of some bodies are changed and some bodies are no longer designated.

The designations have effect for the financial year which ends on 31st March 2016.

This Order will have no effect on the costs of business or the voluntary sector. For that reason no impact assessment has been produced.
