Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(2) of the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967[^f00001], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to make the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Commissioner Order 2015 and comes into force on 6th April 2015.

Amendments to Schedule 2 to the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967

• (1) Schedule 2 to the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967[^f00002] (departments etc. subject to investigation) is amended as follows.

• (2) At the appropriate place insert the following—

• “British Transport Police Authority.”

• “Electricity Settlements Company Ltd.”

• “Independent Medical Expert Group.”

• “Low Carbon Contracts Company Ltd.”.

• (3) Omit the following entries—

• “Agricultural dwelling house advisory committees.”

• “Agricultural wages committees.”

• “Commission for Rural Communities.”

• “Equality 2025.”

• “Olympic Lottery Distributor.”.

• (4) Omit “Probation trusts.” and insert “Community rehabilitation companies.” at the appropriate place.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends Schedule 2 to the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967 (departments etc. subject to investigation). It adds the bodies referred to in article 2(2) to the list of departments and authorities which are subject to investigation by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration; it omits from that list those bodies referred to in article 2(3), which have been abolished; and it amends those entries in the list referred to in article 2(4).

A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
