Laid before Parliament: 11th March 2015

Coming into force: 1st April 2015

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, paragraph 8 of Schedule 2 to the Water Act 1983[^f00005] and, with the consent of the Treasury, section 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973[^f00006].

Animals

The Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (England) (Laboratories, Circuses and Avian Quarantine) Regulations 2007[^f00007] are revoked.

Agriculture

The following Regulations are revoked—

Environmental protection

The Environmental Protection (Disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyls and other Dangerous Substances) (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2000[^f00017] are revoked.

Water

The Water (Compensation) Regulations 1983[^f00018] are revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations revoke in England 11 statutory instruments concerning animals, agriculture, and environmental protection. They revoke in England and Wales one statutory instrument concerning water. All these Regulations are spent or otherwise superseded.

No impact assessment has been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private, voluntary or public sectors is foreseen. An Explanatory Memorandum is available alongside the instrument at www.legislation.co.uk.
