The Environment and Rural Affairs (Miscellaneous Revocations) Regulations 2015

Made: 10th March 2015

Laid before Parliament: 11th March 2015

Coming into force: 1st April 2015

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972, paragraph 8 of Schedule 2 to the Water Act 1983[^f00005] and, with the consent of the Treasury, section 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973[^f00006].

Citation, commencement and application

• (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Environment and Rural Affairs (Miscellaneous Revocations) Regulations 2015 and come into force on 1st April 2015.

• (2) Regulations 2 to 4 apply to England.

• (3) Regulation 5 applies to England and Wales.

Animals

The Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (England) (Laboratories, Circuses and Avian Quarantine) Regulations 2007[^f00007] are revoked.

Agriculture

The following Regulations are revoked—

• (a) the Milk Marketing Boards (Special Conditions) Regulations 1981[^f00008];

• (b) the Countryside Access Regulations 1994[^f00009];

• (c) the Countryside Access (Amendment) Regulations 1996[^f00010];

• (d) the Selective Cull (Enforcement of Community Compensation Conditions) Regulations 1996[^f00011];

• (e) the Bovine Hides Regulations 1997[^f00012];

• (f) the Countryside Access (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1999[^f00013];

• (g) the BSE Monitoring (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2001[^f00014];

• (h) the Older Cattle (Disposal) (England) Regulations 2005[^f00015]; and

• (i) the Dairy (Specific Market Support Measure) Regulations 2010[^f00016].

Environmental protection

The Environmental Protection (Disposal of Polychlorinated Biphenyls and other Dangerous Substances) (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2000[^f00017] are revoked.

Water

The Water (Compensation) Regulations 1983[^f00018] are revoked.

These Regulations revoke in England 11 statutory instruments concerning animals, agriculture, and environmental protection. They revoke in England and Wales one statutory instrument concerning water. All these Regulations are spent or otherwise superseded.
