Made: 3rd May 2016

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 63(2) of the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016[^f00001], makes the following Regulations.

Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 (Commencement) Regulations 2016.

Commencement

2

The Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 comes into force on 26th May 2016 in so far as it is not already in force.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations bring the provisions of the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 into force on type=start slip=2016-06-01 time=146435443269126th May 2016type=end slip=2016-06-01 time=1464354432691 in so far as they are not already in force. Sections 59, 61, 62, 63 and all enabling powers came into force on Royal Assent.
