The Policing and Crime Act 2017 (Commencement No. 5 and Transitional Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 2017

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 183(1), (7) and (9) of the Policing and Crime Act 2017[^f00001].
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Policing and Crime Act 2017 (Commencement No. 5 and Transitional Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 and come into force on 30th November 2017.
Amendments to the Policing and Crime Act 2017 (Commencement No. 5 and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017

- (1) The Policing and Crime Act 2017 (Commencement No. 5 and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017[^f00002] are amended as follows.
- (2) In the heading to regulation 2, for “1st” substitute “15th”.
- (3) In regulation 2, for “1st” substitute “15th”.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the Policing and Crime Act 2017 (Commencement No. 5 and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017 (“the Commencement (No. 5) Regulations”) which bring into force various provisions of the Policing and Crime Act 2017. These Regulations are necessary to correct an error in the Commencement (No. 5) Regulations.
Regulation 2 has the effect of changing the date the Commencement (No.5) Regulations commence the provisions in regulation 2 of those Regulations from 1st December to 15th December.
