The Defence Science and Technology Laboratory Trading Fund (Revocation) Order 2017

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 6(1) of the Government Trading Funds Act 1973[^f00001], makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement

- (1) This Order may be cited as the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory Trading Fund (Revocation) Order 2017.
- (2) This Order comes into force on 1st April 2017.
Revocation

The Defence Science and Technology Laboratory Trading Fund Order 2011[^f00002] is revoked.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order revokes the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) Trading Fund Order 2011, with effect from 1 April 2017. DSTL will remain an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Defence after its trading fund status is revoked, and so will come within the ambit of the Defence vote.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sector is foreseen.
