Coming into force in accordance with article 1

The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 99(1) of the Senior Courts Act 1981[^f00001], having consulted the Lord Chief Justice in accordance with that section, makes the following Order.

Commencement and citation

This Order may be cited as the Civil Courts (Amendment) Order 2017 and shall come into force for the purposes—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order amends the Civil Courts Order 2014 (SI 2014/819), which specifies the locations and names of the district registries of the High Court in England and Wales.
