The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by section 3(2) of the Farriers (Registration) Act 2017[^f00001].

These Regulations may be cited as the Farriers (Registration) Act 2017 (Commencement) Regulations 2017.
Commencement

The day appointed for the coming into force of sections 1 and 2 of, and the Schedule to, the Farriers (Registration) Act 2017 is 15th September 2017.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations bring into force in Great Britain on 15th September 2017 sections 1 and 2 of, and the Schedule to, the Farriers (Registration) Act 2017. Section 3 of the Act came into force in Great Britain on 27th April 2017. The Act is now fully in force.
