The NHS Foundation Trusts (Trust Funds: Appointment of Trustees) Revocation Order 2018

Coming into force: 1st October 2018

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 51(1) and (2), 64(5) and (6) and 273(1) of, and paragraph 10 of Schedule 4 to, the National Health Service Act 2006[^f00001], makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the NHS Foundation Trusts (Trust Funds: Appointment of Trustees) Revocation Order 2018 and comes into force on 1st October 2018.

Revocations

The instruments specified in the Schedule (which relate to the appointment of trustees for NHS foundation trusts by the Secretary of State) are revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order revokes nine statutory instruments relating to the appointment of trustees for NHS foundation trusts by the Secretary of State.

A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.

[^f00001]: 2006 c.41. Section 51 is repealed by section 1(1)(a) of the NHS (Charitable Trusts Etc) Act 2016 (c.10) from a date to be appointed. Paragraph 10 of Schedule 4 is repealed by virtue of the repeal of section 25 by section 179(2) of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (c.7) from a date to be appointed.
