Made: 12th December 2018

The Secretary of State for Scotland makes the following Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by section 72(4)(b) of the Scotland Act 2016[^f00001].

Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Scotland Act 2016 (Commencement No. 9) Regulations 2018.

Provision coming into force on 8th February 2019

Section 27 of the Scotland Act 2016 (welfare foods) comes into force on 8th February 2019.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations bring into force section 27 of the Scotland Act 2016 which relates to welfare foods. Section 27 of this Act is brought into force on 8th February 2019.

These commencement Regulations are the ninth to be made in respect of commencement of the Scotland Act 2016.
