The Scotland Act 2016 (Commencement No. 8) Regulations 2018
Made: 6th February 2018
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the power conferred by section 72(4)(c) of the Scotland Act 2016[^f00001].
Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Scotland Act 2016 (Commencement No. 8) Regulations 2018.
Provisions coming into force on 9th February 2018

The following provisions of Part 4 of the Scotland Act 2016 (other legislative competence) come into force on 9th February 2018—
- (a) section 47 (onshore petroleum); and
- (b) section 48 (onshore petroleum: consequential amendments).

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations bring into force sections 47 and 48 of the Scotland Act 2016 (c.11) which relate to onshore petroleum. These sections are brought into force on 9th February 2018.
These commencement Regulations are the eighth Regulations to be made in respect of commencement of the Scotland Act 2016.
