Made: 26th February 2018

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 124(5) and (6) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017[^f00001].

Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2018.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations are the third commencement Regulations made under the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 (c. 29), and commence provisions of that Act relating to the Office for Students and the establishment and operation of United Kingdom Research and Innovation.

The provisions listed in regulation 2 come into force on 1st April 2018.

The provisions listed in regulation 3 come into force on 30th March 2018.
