The Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Prescribed Police Stations) (England and Wales) Regulations 2018

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 87(1)(a) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 .
Citation, commencement, expiry and extent

- (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Prescribed Police Stations) (England and Wales) Regulations 2018 and, save as is mentioned in paragraph (2), come into force on 30th April 2018.
- (2) The entries in the table in the Schedule relating to the Lancashire local police area for Blackpool Town Centre Police Station and West Divisional HQ have effect from 1st July 2018.
- (3) The entry in the table in the Schedule relating to the Lancashire local police area for Blackpool Police Station, Bonny Street ceases to have effect from 30th November 2018.
- (4) These Regulations extend to England and Wales only.
Prescribed police stations

The police stations listed in the second column of the table in the Schedule to these Regulations are prescribed in relation to the corresponding local police area specified in the first column of the table for the purposes of section 87(1)(a) of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
Revocation

The Sexual Offences Act 2003 (Prescribed Police Stations) Regulations 2017 are revoked.
