The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Pensions (Pre-consolidation) Measure 2018[^f00001], make the following Order:
Citation

This Order may be cited as the Pensions (Pre-consolidation) Measure 2018 (Commencement) Order 2018.
Commencement

- (1) Section 1 of, and the Schedule to, the Pensions (Pre-consolidation) Measure 2018 come into force immediately before the commencement of the Consolidation Measure.
- (2) “The Consolidation Measure” means the Measure resulting from the draft Church of England Pensions Measure given First Consideration by the General Synod on 9th February 2018.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force the substantive provisions of the Pensions (Pre-consolidation) Measure 2018.
Article 2 provides for section 1 and the Schedule to come into force immediately before the consolidation Measure which results from the draft Church of England Pensions Measure given First Consideration by the General Synod of the Church of England on 9th February 2018.
