Section 83 was repealed in relation to England, Wales and Northern Ireland by part 2 of Schedule 2 to the Children's Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011 (Consequential and Transitional Provisions and Savings) Order 2013/1465. The repeal has effect subject to transitional provisions and savings specified in article 4 of that Order. Section 83 was repealed in relation to Scotland by Schedule 6 to the 2011 Act. Section 89 was repealed by Schedule 3 to the Adoption and Children (Scotland) Act 2007 asp 4.
