Coming into force: 1st August 2019

The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 45(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017[^f00001], makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

This Order maybe cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education) Order of Council 2013 (Amendment) Order 2019 and shall come into force on 1st August 2019.

Variation of Power to Award Degrees etc (Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education) Order of Council 2013

(2) Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education shall be competent to grant awards of the kind mentioned in paragraph 2A of section 76 of the said Act for a fixed seven- year term beginning on 1st August 2013 and expiring on 31st July 2020.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order, made under section 45(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017, provides for a variation of the Power to Award Degrees etc (Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education) Order of Council 2013, so that Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education’s existing Degree Awarding Powers authorisation remain valid until 31st July 2020. This Order will come into force on 1st August 2019.

An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on businesses and civil society organisations. The instrument has no impact on the public sector.
