Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 1 of the United Nations Act 1946[^f00001], section 112 of the Saint Helena Act 1833[^f00002], the British Settlements Acts 1887 and 1945[^f00003], and all of the other powers enabling Her to do so, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows:

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order revokes the Eritrea (Sanctions) (Overseas Territories) Order 2012 (S.I. 2012/2751), which gave effect in specified Overseas Territories to sanctions adopted by the United Nations Security Council against Eritrea. The Order reflects the lifting of those sanctions by the United Nations Security Council under resolution 2444 (2018) and gives effect to the implementation of that resolution by the European Union under Council Decision (CFSP) 2018/1944 and Council Regulation (EU) 2018/1932.
