The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the Mission and Pastoral etc. (Amendment) Measure 2018[^f00001], make the following Order:

The following provisions of the 2018 Measure come into force on 1st March 2019—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Order brings the remaining provisions of the Mission and Pastoral etc. (Amendment) Measure 2018 into force on 1st March 2019. The provisions being commenced on that date are section 3(5)(b) and (c), (6), (9) and (10) and section 4(1) and (4) (so far as not already in force).

The provisions in the Mission and Pastoral Measure 2011 which are amended by the provisions being commenced by this Order are further amended by section 15(1) and (2) of the Church of England (Miscellaneous) Provisions Measure 2018. Section 15 is commenced by the Church of England (Miscellaneous Provisions) Measure 2018 Commencement Order 2019 (S.I. 2019/67). Subsections (1) and (2) of section 15 come into force immediately after the amendments that are commenced by this Order.
