Made: 28th March 2019

The Treasury, with the consent of the Lord Chancellor for the commencement of section 33 of the Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018[^f00001], make the following Regulations in the exercise of the powers conferred by section 37(5), (9)(b)(ii) and (10) of that Act.

Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018 (Commencement No. 6) Regulations 2019.

Commencement

The following provisions of the Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018 come into force on the day after the day on which these Regulations are made—

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Regulation 2 of these Regulations commences sections 28, 33 and 34 of the Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018 (c.10) on the day after the day on which these Regulations are made.

The Lord Chancellor’s consent was required to commence section 33 in accordance with section 37(10) of the Financial Guidance and Claims Act 2018.

A full impact assessment has not been produced for these Regulations as they have no, or no significant, impact on the costs of business or the voluntary sector.
