The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14 and 240(10) of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007[^f00001].

Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government (Structural Changes) (Further Financial Provisions and Amendment) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 and come into force on 1st April 2020.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations amend the Local Government (Structural Changes) (Further Financial Provisions and Amendment) Regulations 2009 so that the date specified for a general fund to be established is changed from 1st April 2019 to the date specified in the order made under section 7 of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 as that on which the structural change comes into effect (“the reorganisation date”).

An impact assessment has not been prepared as this instrument will have no impact on the costs of business and the voluntary sector.
