In accordance with section 45R of that Act, the Secretary of State is of the opinion that, by reason of urgency, it is necessary to make this instrument without a draft having been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament.

Citation and commencement

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (No. 4) (Amendment) Regulations 2020.

(2) These Regulations come into force on 10th November 2020.

Amendments to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (No. 4) Regulations 2020

(1) The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (No. 4) Regulations 2020 are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 6, at paragraph (2)(f), after “Remembrance Sunday” insert “or Armistice Day,”.

(3) In regulation 11, at paragraph (18)(a)(i), after “Remembrance Sunday” insert “or Armistice Day”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations make amendments to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) (No. 4) Regulations 2020 to permit attendance at outside events commemorating Armistice Day.

No impact assessment has been prepared for these Regulations.
