The Power to Award Degrees etc. (Dyson Technical Training Limited) Order 2020

Coming into force: 1st September 2021
The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017[^f00001], makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Dyson Technical Training Limited) Order 2020 and shall come into force on 1st September 2021.
Competence to grant awards

Dyson Technical Training Limited (registered company number 10701273) is authorised to grant taught awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(a) of the said Act.

The authorisation in article 2 is for a fixed term beginning on 1st September 2024 and expiring on 30th November 2027.

Dyson Technical Training Limited may authorise other institutions to grant such awards as specified in article 2 of this Order on its behalf.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order, made under section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 authorises Dyson Technical Training Limited with the power to award specified taught awards for a three- year and three-month fixed term expiring on 30th November 2024. This Order will come into force on 1st September 2021.
An impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as it has no impact on businesses and civil society organisations. The instrument has no impact on the public sector.
