The Export Control (Amendment) (EU Exit) (No. 2) Regulations 2020

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8C(1) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018[^f00001].
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Export Control (Amendment) (EU Exit) (No. 2) Regulations 2020 and come into force at 10.59 p.m. on 31st December 2020.
Amendment of the Export Control (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020

In the Export Control (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020[^f00002], in regulation 7(9), in the text of paragraph (28B) to be inserted in regulation 4 of the Export Control (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019[^f00003], after the text of article 42N(2)(a) contained in that paragraph, for “and”, substitute “or”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations, which come into force at 10.59 p.m. on 31st December 2020, correct a drafting error in regulation 7(9) of the Export Control (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 (S.I. 2020/1502) before that regulation comes into force.
These Regulations are being issued free of charge to all known recipients of the Export Control (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, voluntary, or public sector is foreseen.
