In accordance with section 45R of the Public Health (Control of Disease) Act 1984, the Secretary of State is of the opinion that, by reason of urgency, it is necessary to make this instrument without a draft having been laid before, and approved by a resolution of, each House of Parliament.
Citation and commencement

- (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (All Tiers) (England) (Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations 2020.
- (2) These Regulations come into force on 31st December 2020.
Amendments to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (All Tiers) (England) Regulations 2020

- (1) The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (All Tiers) (England) Regulations 2020 are amended as follows.
- (2) In regulation 8(4)(b) for “the Tier 2 area and the Tier 3 area” substitute “the Tier 2 area, the Tier 3 area and the Tier 4 area”.
- (3) In Schedule 3A, in paragraph 8(2) for “sub-paragraph (2)” substitute “sub-paragraph (1)”.
- (4) In Part 1 of Schedule 4—

(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend Schedule 4 to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (All Tiers) (England) Regulations 2020 so as to make changes to the areas that are subject to Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4 restrictions for the purposes of those Regulations.
These Regulations also make minor amendments correcting errors in those Regulations.
No impact assessment has been prepared for these Regulations.
