The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 61(2) of the Crime and Courts Act 2013[^f00001]
Citation and extent

This Order may be cited as the Crime and Courts Act 2013 (Commencement No. 19) Order 2021.

This Order extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Provisions coming into force on 17th September 2021

Section 50 of and Schedule 20 (extradition) to the Crime and Courts Act 2013 come into force for all remaining purposes on 17th September 2021.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order commences section 50 of and Schedule 20 to the Crime and Courts Act 2013 (c. 22) for all remaining purposes. Section 50 introduces Schedule 20 which amends the Extradition Act 2003. Part 1 of that Schedule introduces the forum bar. Part 2 amends the requirements on the Secretary of State to consider human rights issues when making an extradition order. Part 3 deals with devolution issues in Scotland and is already in force.
