The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 70(1) and 2(a) of the Space Industry Act 2018[^f00001], makes the following Regulations.
Citation and commencement

- (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Space Industry Act 2018 (Commencement No. 2, Transitional and Savings Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 2021.
- (2) 28th July 2021 is the day appointed for the coming into force of these Regulations.
Amendment of the Space Industry Act 2018 (Commencement No. 2, Transitional and Savings Provisions) Regulations 2021

- (1) The Space Industry Act 2018 (Commencement No. 2, Transitional and Savings Provisions) Regulations 2021[^f00002] are amended as follows.
- (2) In paragraphs 3(b), 4(b) and 7(b) of the Schedule, omit each occurrence of “or elsewhere”.
- (3) In paragraph 107 of the Schedule, omit “and (3)”.
- (4) In paragraph 117 of the Schedule, omit “9,”.

Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the Space Industry Act 2018 (Commencement No. 2, Transitional and Savings Provisions) Regulations 2021 (S.I. 2021/817) (“the Commencement No. 2 Regulations”) which bring into force specified provisions of the Space Industry Act 2018 (c. 5) (“the Act”). These are set out in the Note as to Earlier Commencement Regulations set out below.
Regulation 2(2) amends paragraphs 3(b), 4(b) and 7(b) of the Schedule to the Commencement No. 2 Regulations so as to omit redundant wording from those Regulations.
Regulation 2(3) omits the reference to “and (3)” in paragraph 107 of the Schedule to the Commencement No. 2 Regulations and regulation 2(4) omits the reference to “9,” in paragraph 117 of the Schedule to those Regulations.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, voluntary or public sector is foreseen.
