The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(3) of the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022[^f00001].

Provision coming into force on 1st January 2023

Section 14 of the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022 (information about technical education and training: access to English schools) comes into force on 1st January 2023.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

These Regulations bring into force section 14 of the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022 (c. 21) (“the Act”), which increases the requirements on schools in England to provide access to providers of technical education, on 1st January 2023. They are the second commencement regulations to be made under the Act.
