Coming into force: with immediate effect
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016[^f00001].
Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Russian Aircraft) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and they come into force with immediate effect.
Amendment of the Regulations

The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Russian Aircraft) Regulations 2022[^f00002] are amended by deleting in regulation 2(1) “on a scheduled service”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
These Regulations amend the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Russian Aircraft) Regulations 2022 (S.I. 2022/183). The amendment extends the restriction of flying to include all aircraft which are Russian owned, chartered or operated by a person connected to Russia, or which is registered in Russia.
Full details of this Statutory Instrument will be promulgated by Notice to Aviation (NOTAM).
